THE LATEST ON THE BUS
Xenox News has finally received word from our intrepid senior citizens on The Bus. A postcard from Paris by Mavis Stringbean. Dear Xenox News,
We have just arrived in Paris after an exhausting 48hr trip from Australia. Unfortunately we just missed seeing our beloved PM and his luvely wife while they were on their European jaunt! We would have loved to thank him for all he has done for us Aussie Battlers!
I am writing this on The Bus as we leave Charles De Gaulle airport. The Bus isn’t as nice as was shown in the brochures but I’m sure we will survive. We have just meet our tour guides Hans and Jorge. They seem nice enough, except they had a bit of an argument with one of the other men in the tour party. It seems that this man reminded Jorge that as French President, Charles De Gaulle used to run a bit of Germany. This lead to Jorge giving him a kick up the arse as he got on the bus! There were a few murmurs from the other tourists about this, but I’m sure it will all sort it self out as the tour proceeds.
I will continue to send more postcards as our tour goes on. We have a few months ahead of us and I’m very excited. So I have to go to the toilet.

Yours truly,
Mavis Stringbean.
